Collection and use of personal data from customers, suppliers and other contractors
We would like to draw your attention to the fact that we will collect and use the personal data you provide to us because this is necessary in order to conclude and execute any agreement with you. This applies to our (potential) customers as well as to parties from whom we purchase goods and/or services. If you are a (potential) customer of ours, we will use your data to be able to send you an offer, to determine the specifications or requirements for a certain item or service, to be able to deliver items or perform work for you, to be able to invoice and to communicate with you smoothly and efficiently about the implementation aspects of the agreement.
If you are a (potential) supplier or other contractor, your personal data are also necessary for the conclusion and execution of the agreement. In the case of purchasing, this is necessary in order to let you know what specifications or wishes we have for a certain item or service, to be able to send you a request for a quotation or place an order with you, to pay your invoices and to be able to communicate with you smoothly and efficiently about other aspects of the agreement.
You are not obliged to provide us with your personal data. However, if you do not provide us with any or sufficient personal data, we may not be able to carry out the abovementioned work.
Collection, use and storage of personal data of business relations
Please note that we will collect and use the personal data you provide because you have given us your consent or because this is necessary in order to safeguard our legitimate interests. We process the following data: name, address and contact details.
If you are a relation of ours, we use your data to be able to contact you for purposes that are in the interest of our company. This includes, for example, discussing a possible cooperation, providing and obtaining information and maintaining our network.
You are not obliged to provide us with your personal data. However, if you do not provide us with any or sufficient personal data, we may not be able to carry out the above mentioned purposes. Your data will be deleted one year after the last contact.
Cookies are small text files that are placed on your computer, tablet or smartphone when you visit our website. Information is stored in these files, which will later be recognised when you visit our website again.
We place functional cookies. We do this to make our website easy to use. This includes things like remembering your login details during your visit.
Analytical cookies show us which pages and sections of our website generate clicks. We use Google Analytics for this purpose. The information collected by Google in this way is as anonymous as possible.
Passing on to third parties
In connection with the execution of a possible agreement with you, it is possible that we have to pass on your personal data to parties who supply us with parts, materials and products or who perform work on our behalf. We also make use of Microsoft Office and the accompanying storage facilities for e-mails and other files.
Finally, because we use a newsletter mailing service, your personal data is passed on to the provider of this service.
If you have given us your permission, we will store and use the personal data you have provided in order to inform you personally by e-mail in the future about our existing and new products and services and possibly make you an offer for them. Each time we send you an advertising mailing, you have the opportunity to let us know that you no longer wish to receive it. See the unsubscribe link at the bottom of each mailing.
Retention period personal data
If you have requested a quotation from us, but have not become a customer, we will delete your personal data no later than one year after our last contact. Likewise, if we have received a quotation from you, but you have not become a customer of ours, your personal data will be deleted no later than one year after our last contact. If you have become a customer or we have become one, we will retain your personal data for a period of seven years after the end of the financial year in which the agreement with you was fully executed. The period of seven years corresponds to the period within which we are obliged to keep our records for the Tax Authorities. After this period, we will delete your personal data.
You have the right to ask us to review your own personal data. If there is reason to do so, you can also ask us to supplement your personal data or to amend any inaccuracies. In addition, you have the right to request that your personal data be deleted or that the use of your personal data be restricted. You can also object to the collection and use of your personal data or lodge a complaint with the Dutch Data Protection Authority.
